Well, I figured I would post about our summer project. We went ahead with a remodel in our backyard. This photos was taken from the roof a month ago. We are designing a new backyard. With plenty of spaces for sunbathers, shade seekers, and party dwellers.
It is a lot of hard work. I KINDA feel bad that I can't help dig up old cement or dig through the clay dirt. Here Chris is playing I mean working.
We used to have walls around this lower patio. We removed them for an open feel and view of the whole yard.
every other day a group of hard workers are in the backyard. Here these guys are removing the old plaster getting it ready for the new and improved pebble sheen....

Hey, it looks good alreaady!
Wow, what a project! Good luck with moving all of that dirt! Back in AZ, we landscaped our entire yard and had to rent one of those little bobcat tractors. My hubby had a good time.
