The envelope please!

Yesterday the 27th was a very exciting day. Chris and I headed to have an ultrasound. This was the big one! 5 months along they check all the organs and brain, and the sex of the child. We had planned a party for that night. A guess the sex party. Our family gathered in our home and each made a guess. Chris and I also had no idea what the sex of the baby was. We asked the doctor and the technician to please not tell us. We had brought an envelope with a piece of paper for her to write down the sex and seal up the envelope. Then we had to wait..
Chris gathered everyone around and made such a sweet toast. Not a dry eye in the house. It was a wonderful feeling to be with the people you love the most and who will love and support this child.
Inside the red envelope was a paper heart and three pictures. On the paper heart it read, Congratulations on your baby BOY!

Congrats Lisa and Chris. I can't wait to see this little Pickup. Boys are great. You don't even look pregnant. We want to see a picture of your little belly.

Boys are wonderful... I know I love both of mine...the one I married and my baby boy Tyler. Tyler was very excited to hear you were expecting a boy. He's been waiting for another boy in the family.

Glad you had a nice evening and you were with everyone you love the most....sad to have missed out!
