O Summer

It's true, summer is a favorite season of mine. Following fall, spring and glorious winter. But, I truly love summer and all it has to offer. Lazy hot afternoons, warm nights, and the endless blue skies. Summer dayz are wasted away in line at a lemonaide stand, stuffing cotton candy in your mouth, or waiting patiently as your favorite food grows and gets bigger and juicy and, and, and, hurry mr. tomato plant I am waiting for you! I have big plans for you. I have so many mouth watering receipts to show you off in.

For me, Basil and Tomatoes are like the perfect marriage. It's sweet, spicy, beautiful, soft, and just makes SENSE.
A look at the tiny garden. mainly tomato plants and one eggplant, basil, fennel, onions, garlic, oregeno, chives, and parsley.

Your garden is glorious! Home grown tomatoes can't even compare to those you buy in a store. Enjoy enjoy! I am so jealous... I love caprece salad with fresh mozz. tomatoes and basil, I could eat it every day!
